Outfit: Early spring in London!

Hello! It has been a while since I wrote, but I have been busy with classes and getting through the darker days of the year.. But London is shining, and I could not be more excited!

It is one of those days in London when if you are in the sun it’s nice and warm, but as soon as you are in the shade it becomes freezing, specially if you also go through a raft of wind. It is still way to early to pull out flower prints and light sweaters, so here is an outfit in transition from winter to spring…

I find it so difficult to wear warm clothes when all you really want is to start wearing light and colorful fabrics, and March is one of those confusing months when I am not really sure if it is still winter or the beginning of the summer months.

I have to say though, I don’t know that I have ever seen London more beautiful… I want to be out all day!

(Outfit details are at the bottom)

A warm and thick sweater keeping me warm, and a hint of spring in my Chanel ballerina flats (I am so tired of boots already -_- I needed a break!)

My turtleneck is still a very wintery piece, and it is also black which makes it even less spring-like, but I wanted a comfortable sweater for a cosy Sunday strolling the streets of London.

And black also happened to match my shoes and bag perfectly 🙂

Sunglasses: Dior Homme, Sweater: Valentino, Jeans: Sandro Paris, Flats and Bag: Chanel

5 Favorites from Summer’17 Haute-Couture Week

I happen to be a massive junkie of big, fluffy and fancy-party dresses, and Haute-Couture week is one of my favorites. …For this reason picking just five outfits was torture!

I believe summer is a season to wear light colors, to embrace flowy fabrics and to show some skin. The dresses I have picked are the perfect combination of all these summer essentials, while still keeping it elegant for a special occasion.

Also, I am currently sitting on my desk in gloomy London, and right about now I would give it all to be under a summer-night sky floating around in one of these dreamy dresses…

  1. Chanel

(Isn’t it fabulous?!)

2. Ralph and Russo

(So light like a feather..)ss17-30-thumbnail

3. Valentino

(This one is just too cool)

4. Dior

(So innocent, yet so sexy)

4. Dior – Again!

5. Elie Saab

(This is an under-the-knee length dress, but I find it so elegant and the stones make it somewhat exotic – I could not find a full picture on their website yet, but you get the idea:))

Hope you enjoyed the post! And feel free to leave comments with your opinion!

Which one is your favorite?

Crans Montana, an Oasis in the Snow

Here I am in Crans Montana! A beautiful ski resort in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

It’s perfect for a weekend getaway, or a longer vacation! Crans Montana is a great spot for all ages and all sort of winter activities; it is the ideal winter wonderland. I traveled here with my boarding-school friend Sasha from Russia and for me it was more of a relax weekend, and a much needed detox after the Christmas holidays. I do love the Holidays but… too much is too much.

The snoozy feeling of the mountains around me was the perfect environment to take a break for the world. A glass of wine and a ‘chic’ camp fire has now become one of my favorite pastimes.

This is the spa at LeCrans Hotel and Spa, the outdoor heated pool was incredible! Especially when later in the evening snow started drizzling, and the view was breathtaking.

*Spa Look: Blue Prada bikini.

Here I am on top of the mountain, we took up the ski lift to enjoy lunch in the sunny terrace, but temperatures below -10° forced us to sit inside. It was freezing! (Unfortunately, we got caught up in a cold wave…)
